Water. The Earth is largely made up of it. As are we...
And yet about it we know significantly little.
Until the groundbreaking work of a pioneer Japanese researcher whose astonishing discovery about water, documented photographically, changed most of what we didn’t know…and led to a new consciousness of Earth’s most precious resource.
Dr. Masaru Emoto was born in Japan and is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University and the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. His photographs were first featured in his self-published books Messages from Water 1 and 2. The Hidden Messages in Water was first published in Japan, with over 400,000 copies sold internationally.

What has put Dr. Emoto at the forefront of the study of water is his proof that thoughts and feelings affect physical reality. By producing different focused intentions through written and spoken words and music and literally presenting it to the same water samples, the water appears to “change its expression”.

Essentially, Dr. Emoto captured water’s ‘expressions.’ He developed a technique using a very powerful microscope in a very cold room along with high-speed photography, to photograph newly formed crystals of frozen water samples. Not all water samples crystallize however. Water samples from extremely polluted rivers directly seem to express the ‘state’ the water is in.
Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. He found that water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors.
The implications of this research create a new awareness of how we can positively impact the earth and our personal health. The success of his books outside Japan has been remarkable. Dr. Emoto has been called to lecture around the world as a result and has conducted live experiments both in Japan and Europe as well as in the US to show how indeed our thoughts, attitudes, and emotions as humans deeply impact the environment.

The medicinal components of ginger work primarily in the stomach and intestines. As an established folk remedy to treat motion sickness, nausea and osteoarthritis, daily consumption of ginger also does wonders for reducing the risk of high blood pressure and coronary heart disease. Ginger is known to beat drugs in defeating cancer and many inflammatory processes. The University of Maryland Medical Center cites several preliminary studies that suggest ginger may also lower cholesterol and prevent blood from clotting. Stopping your blood from clotting can help people with heart disease, where blood vessels become clogged and lead to heart attack or stroke.
From Cancer Prevention to Weight Loss: 22 Benefits of Ginger Now, data published in Nutrition indicated that daily ginger consumption was associated with an 8% lower risk of developing hypertension and a 13% lower risk of coronary heart disease in adults. “The data indicated that ginger had a potential preventive property against some chronic diseases, especially hypertension and coronary heart disease as well as its ability to reduce the probability of illness by increasing 1g/d ginger intake on the basis of prior diet,” wrote the researchers. “It was a heart-healthy alternative to appropriately increase ginger consumption every day being recommended as a good dietary choice.” A study published in 2005 in the “Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology” found that ginger lowered blood pressure in controlled experimental conditions. Researchers investigated the cardiovascular effects of ginger on the blood pressure of different animals. Using crude extract of fresh ginger injected intravenously in rats, researchers found a dose-dependent fall in blood pressure.
Further experiments in this research suggest that the blood-pressure-lowering effect of ginger is due to the blockage of voltage-dependent calcium channels. However, researchers did not examine the effects of ginger on the blood pressure of humans. Ginger The new study adds to an ever growing body of science supporting the potential health benefits of ginger. The rhizome of the ginger plant (Zingiber officinale) is a rich source of antioxidants, including gingerols, shogaols, zingerones and other ketone derivatives. It has been reported to possess anti-inï¬‚ammatory, antioxidant and anti-proliferative activities.

Study Details: For the new study, the researchers assessed the effects of different ginger intakes (0-2g/d, 2g-4g/d, 4-6g/d) in 4,628 men and women aged over 18 for a range of chronic diseases, including anaemia, cerebrovascular disease, coronary heart disease, diabetes, fatty liver, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension. Results showed that there was only an association for ginger and the risk of hypertension and coronary heart disease in people over 18. Similar risk reductions were also observed when the researchers looked at over 40s only. However, the association with hypertension disappeared in people over 60.
The researchers noted that the precise mechanism(s) by which ginger may reduce the risk of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases are not yet well understood, but could be related to a potential inhibitory action on angiotensin-1-converting enzyme (ACE) and prevention of lipid peroxidation in the heart. They also note that the effects could linked to the polyphenol content of ginger. “On the basis of the present study, we provided a preliminary suggestion that daily intake of 2-4g/d ginger could prevent chronic diseases. However, larger different studies were necessary to be designed to confirm our findings and determine the optimum daily ginger intake for the prevention of chronic diseases,” they concluded.

Our vibrations fluctuate with time, so where you are right now is not necessarily where you’ll be a year from now, or even a minute from now! After reviewing this list, try out the exercise at the end of the article to make your vibration higher, no matter where it is today.

Things are easily falling into place for you
You are healthy, free from illness
Your body feels good and is free of injury
You aren’t complaining
You feel well rested, and you sleep easily
The dreams that you remember are good dreams
You are manifesting the things you want quickly and easily

Although it is completely possible that you would say “yes” to all 15 of these items (and if you did, congratulations!), it is more likely that you said “no” to a few of them, and that’s perfectly fine! Your vibration is constantly changing, so where you are right now is not where you will be forever. Besides, you can still have a pretty decent vibration even when things aren’t perfect! It’s also good to know that when these items are not going well for you, you can always dig a little deeper to find the kink in your vibration.
Problem areas are the universe’s ways of telling you that there is something going on in your thoughts, beliefs or actions that is causing a low vibration in an area of your life. To dig a little deeper, you can use the following exercise to help you find out the cause of your vibration and push it higher (no matter how high it is already).
Exercise: After evaluating how high your vibration is currently, sit down and make a list of your predominant thoughts, beliefs and actions today. What are the major things you’ve been thinking and doing today? Write down whatever comes to mind. Don’t think about it too much. Next, look over the list that you have written. For any negative thoughts, beliefs or actions you’ve written down, CROSS THEM OUT, and next to each one write something positive you could think, believe or act on instead. For example, if one of your big thoughts today is “my job sucks,” write it down, then cross it off and reach for something related (but positive) you could say instead like “I really like my coworker Julie.” Make sure that whatever you write down is true, so only write down honestly positive statements. The idea is to get you to focus more on what’s going right already. For any positive thoughts, beliefs or actions you’ve written down on your list, CIRCLE THEM, and then write down another related (but positive) thought, belief or action you can come up with. For example, if one of your thoughts was “I love my job,” write it down, circle it and then add another comment like “my boss is so nice to me.” Amp up the good feelings you already have to take yourself even higher! With practice, this exercise will get you into the habit of identifying the negative thoughts, beliefs and actions that are dragging you down. It will also get you into the habit of consistently pushing your vibration higher, no matter where you are on the spectrum. As you keep moving through life, periodically stop and do a quick scan of your vibration. No matter where it is at today, you always have the power to improve it. With consistent effort you will find that not only will your vibration climb higher, but you will know exactly why. Keep tabs on your vibration, and you’ll start to score better and better on this list!
